Have visited a couple times and this time was ever better than the last. You cannot go wrong with the mushroom parfait, which tastes the same as the one from the parent restaurant, Fallow. If the chicken wings are on the menu, get them! They are so delicious! We came on a weekend where there was brunch, so we finally tried the Royale with cheese and can confirm it’s worth the try. The banana bread with bacon was also very good. Also can’t go wrong with hash browns. The atmosphere and service here is always top notch.

They are dog friendly and even have a little dog menu, how cute! They’ve got outdoor seating but we were happy to be seated inside as it’s quite hot. They reserved a very spacious area for us since we’ve got a dog. There was so much we wanted to try on the menu but we went for a couple of small plates to share. We were surprised the mushroom parfait would be our favourite dish! It’s got so much flavour and has a silky smooth texture. We liked all the other dishes too apart from the cuttlefish toast which we found a bit greasy and heavy. Our dog enjoyed his steak and ate it very fast. The cocktails were really nice too. We ended our meal with some delicious desserts. Definitely want to come back again!

Everything about our visit was excellent. The food was exceptional and came out quickly. The team there were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend the mushroom parfait (as someone that doesn’t traditionally like mushrooms!), the blooming onion and the ex dairy steak. I also always forget how great their desserts are so make sure you save some room. Hope to visit again soon
