Overpriced, overrated cafe. The quality of the food is very poor and extremely overpriced. Service is slow and staff are abrupt and disorganized. We made a booking for 2.30 and on the day received a message stating our booking had been moved to 2pm without even checking if that was ok. On arrival we were told that the cafe had a private event from 4pm so we would need to order and be finished by 3.30. There isn't much else in the surrounding area and we needed to eat if there was an alternative option we would have definitely left due to the attitude of the staff. They didn't have all of the memu items available and the menu is extremely carb heavy and only really has brunch items. You can build your own breakfast but are charged per item and one sausage is £6. The food is bland and overpriced. £16 for a crab cake and £14 for a grilled hallumi sandwich which when arrived the hallumi wasn't cooked when I mentioned this to the server she responded with "of course it's cooked" I asked her to take it back to the kitchen and ask the chef to grill it (as that's what I was paying for) the chef responded from the open kitchen that the grill was off, so it wasn't possible to grill the hallumi and offered to pan fry it instead. Please see pics of what this restaurant considered an acceptable grilled hallumi sandwich. I think it was clear that we were not satisfied with the service or the food and they did take a round of drinks off the bill which was a nice gesture. I would recommend eating somewhere else if you're heading to the serpentine gallery. It's fine for just drinks and they do have a good selection of drinks just still overpriced.

Lovely Spot Near the Serpentine! Stopped by Friends Of Ours Serpentine while enjoying a day out in Hyde Park, and it was such a great choice. The atmosphere is amazing — relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly located just near the Serpentine. I had the French toast with a passion fruit juice, and both were absolutely delicious. It’s a perfect place to pause, recharge, and soak in the park vibes. Highly recommend for anyone strolling through Hyde Park!
