The iconic Shakespeare Globe Theatre needs no introduction, though its flagship restaurant Swan is a lesser-known gem. Get unbeatable views of the city while dining on a delicious Brunch or Sunday Lunch menu.

Low-slung and cosy, the interior here is as inviting as they come and is steeped in history, with beautiful views of St Paul's Cathedral and other landmarks from the window seats.

Try the buttermilk pancakes with smoked bacon and maple syrup or, if you're more of a savoury fan, Eggs Royale, Benedict and Florentine never fail to satisfy. On a Sunday, try their indulgent roasts, with options such as roast Kentish chicken or Scottish sirloin, cooked to perfection and served with all the trimmings.

Southwark Underground Station is just under five minutes away on foot.

Oh my goodness! We absolutely adore this place! We’ve been here for both Christmas and summer, and it’s been a delightful experience. They offer a wide variety of vegan options, and the food is simply delicious! Our server, Riyas, was exceptional. He was incredibly helpful in assisting us with our dairy-free accommodation, and his tea selection was simply superb. And let’s not forget the breathtaking views from the Thames—they add to the overall great memories!

We went to this pub before heading to the Globe theater —just for a gin tonic and a quick meal. It's really charming and very well-kept. The staff, especially the waitress who served us, was extremely friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this place because they have a great selection of cocktails and dishes, ranging from simple and quick bites to more substantial options. It's an excellent spot, and I would definitely like to return. Highly recommended!

Great view from the bar and the restaurant. We went for afternoon tea in Romeo and Juliet theme. Ordered both the classic and the Cowboy tea, both were great and in big portion that was sufficient for a family of three. The scones were massive and the Cowboy butter was excellent. Most importantly, Shannon gave us wonderful experience. Big smiley face and always checked on us to see if we needed anything. Great time here, the only thing to complain is it can be quite hot in a summer afternoon.
