We went here last weekend and had a lovely three course meal. Staff were friendly and attentive and came back to check on us when needed. They were very good with assisting me with what to order as I have allergies. The food was delicious and so was the Prosecco. We will definitely come back again. Would recommend the steak, the scallops and the coconut rice pudding.

We dined here using a voucher for a special deal on the set menu. The food and the service in the restaurant were nice, 4 stars, but unfortunately the overall experience was marred by the attitude of the two women at the host desk, hence the 2 stars for service. The set menu is £55 for three courses, and a bottle of prosecco is £48. We had a third party voucher that gave us the set menu for 2 and a bottle of prosecco to share for £80. Right from arrival the attitude of the woman at the host station was rude, she struggled to find my booking confirmation and repeatedly queried whether or not I'd actually booked, even when I showed her the email she behaved as if she didn't believe me. She eventually called over a colleague to check my email, and unfortunately, this colleague displayed the same dismissive, condesending and patronising attitude. It only got worse when the other 2 people in our group arrived, we'd booked separately but had emailed to ask if we could dine as one group, and received confirmation acknowledging this. Unfortunately this was an issue for both of the women at the host desk, we were rudely told to go wait in the lobby as they would have to "rearrange the restaurant" to accommodate us. After 15 minutes we were shown to a table. The food was nice and the service from the wait staff was good. If it wasn't for the attitude of the two women at the host station I would have no issue recommending One Twenty One Two, however, despite the fact that the restaurant participates in the voucher scheme, the hosts/receptionists made us feel very unwelcome and that because we had a voucher we weren't real customers.

Twelve. On a scale of one to ten the 1212 restaurant is a twelve. The main dining room for the Royal Horseguards hotel, 1212 is sublime. We ate a delicious meal and had impeccable service. We were staying in the hotel so it was even better due to the convenience of it being just down stairs. I think my favorite thing was the service.
